Glazed Cherry Shortbread

Ingredients

2 cups Butter
120 g Icing sugar
60 g Cornstarch
375 g Flour
1/2 Cup Icing Sugar
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
2 Tb Water

Instructions

1.
Put 2 C Butter in bowl of Electric Mixer, Add 120 g of icing sugar And 60 Grams of Cornstarch, Beat on Medium High with Paddle Attaxhment 3 to 5 min , Next Add 375 Grams of All Purpose Flour , Beat 3 to 5 min until very light and Fluffy , Next Using A Cookie Press With Desired Shapes put on Ungreased Cookie Sheet, Top With 1/4 of A Marachino cherries Bake at 225 Degrees for Approximately 5 to 7 Min Or Until just Golden Brown on The Sides and Bottom, When Still Hot Drizzle With A Glaze Made from 1/2 C Icing Sugar , 1/2 Tsp Vanilla And 2 Tb Water. PUT On Your Favorite Festive Plate And Serve
